Research

My research examines the societal, organizational, historical, and economic models of digital journalism, with a particular focus on sports journalism. My work's been published in Communication & Sport and the International Journal of Communication & Sport, as well as in several collected anthologies, and I'm a frequent presenter at national and international conferences.

About Me

For 10 years, I was a newspaper sports writer, covering a little bit of everything but mainly college basketball. 

Since 2014, I've been teaching the next generation of journalists. I spent seven years at SUNY Oswego before returning to my alma mater, St. Bonaventure, in 2021.
